The whole home buying process has been extremely painful. There's been a lot of ups and downs. Initially, the first home we placed a bid on was accepted. They took our offer, and we turned in our grace money. But they backed out of the offer. And I guess it's completely legal because they claim no documents were signed. So whatever... We were bummed.
And then we found another house. The inspection was on Friday. We're working on some minor kinks, and our mortgage loan is currently being processed. So I'm 95% sure we're getting a house now.
We'll be moving in the middle to the end of August. Isn't this exciting? I'll show pictures when I'm 99.9% sure we're moving.
And by the way, Wisconsin has reached some record temperatures this past week. My thermometer has been reading over 100 every day last week. On Thursday, we officially set a record at 103 (although my thermometer said 105). So I'm really sick of the heat right now...
